SummaryThis position is responsible for performing ramp duties, aircraft fueling and other services in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Understands and complies with operational and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
Ensures all buildings and grounds are safe, clean and organized.
Conducts or assists with daily/weekly onsite inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.
Performs daily/weekly inventory of bulk fuel tanks and trucks.
Delivers and receives fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft as required.
Maintains a working knowledge of specific aircraft refueling instructions.
Operates all company ground support equipment as requested or required, including lavatory and water service carts, ground power unit, deice truck, etc.
Performs ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
Participates in performing customer service activities such as helping customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
Assists with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
Acts as first responder to any company spill incidents.
Provides after hours and weekend call out service as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains a clean and organized work space, and performs work in a courteous and conscientious manner making every effort to not disrupt customers and tenants.
Immediately relay all safety issues to the supervisor on duty, the Operations Manager, and/or the General Manager.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Previous experience in line service or equivalent preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum of 18 years of age
Possess and maintain valid state drivers’ license. May be required to maintain a valid state commercial drivers’ license (CDL) and certification requirements for operating material handling equipment as necessary.
Physically able to perform frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing actions.
Physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends.
Ability to perform line service operations outside and in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
Excellent vision and coordination to move or direct fuel trucks and hoses.
